Pastor Vance Alexander Price is a native of Monroe, LA. A man of God who was led at an early age to motivate and inspire generations of people. He is a proud father of the "3 Hebrew Boys", Zion John Price, Aden Jordan Price & Zavier Keon Price.

Pastor Price accepted Christ at the age of 9, and was a faithful member of New Light Baptist Church in the city of Monroe under the leadership of Pastor L. E. Armstrong Sr., where he was very active in many ministry activities while growing up in New Light. Pastor Price is a 1990 graduate of Wossman High School & also an United States Marine Corp Veteran. Pastor Price humbly accepted his calling December 23, 1990 & preached his first sermon on January 23, 1990 at New Light Baptist under Pastor James B. Johnson.

In 1980 he met his mentor/spiritual father, the late Pastor Ronnie D. Washington. Recognizing and nurturing the anointing & calling upon his life, Pastor Washington appointed him to various positions at Piney Grove B.C. (West Monroe, LA), which included the following: Youth Department, Sunday School & The Board of Christian Education. In 2018, following the sudden passing of Pastor Washington, Pastor Price continued serving God's people faithfully with an unwavering commitment to serve God, through the church, the community & country.

He has been involved in a variety of ministerial endeavors that have prepared him to embrace lost souls & minister to individuals regardless of challenges or limitations. Following 10 years of pastoring, at Macedonia Baptist #2 (Choudrant, LA), 5 years at Bethany Baptist Church (Jonesboro, LA) & 11 years as Co-Pastor at New St. James B.C. God released him to embark upon his own ministry. On December 31, 2017 Pastor Price was unanimously voted in as pastor of New St. James B.C. (Family of Faith) by his predecessor, Pastor William E. Armstrong & the NSJFOF members. Demonstrating unwavering faith, he made the decision to devote his life & service to the ministry & become pastor full time. Through hard work & being faithful to God’s calling upon his life, Pastor Price led the NSJFOF congregation into the importance of evangelism outside the four walls of the church. NSJFOF became the flagship church as an example of ministry to the masses. NSJFOF served as a beacon of light for our community in the midst of high crime, homelessness and natural disasters. On January 2, 2022, Pastor Price founded and launched Community Family Of Faith Church. CFOFC is a church that is founded on the foundation of GOD'S directives for a community minded and focused ministry that is inclusive of all humanity. The three pillars of CFOFC are Equality. Unity and Prosperity.

The work of the Lord has always been first and foremost in his heart. His charismatic style of preaching and humorous personality filters over into his sermons as he often uses practical anecdotes to capture the attention of the congregation. He has an anointing that allows him to minister to those in need of healing of the mind, body, and soul. With such a great calling to fulfill, he finds time to visit the sick/shut-in, make calls to members, conduct bible study, be involved in the community & spend time studying God’s word. Pastor Price has an ear & heart for people (both Saint & Sinner). It is his mission to declare God's Word, with clarity, convention & compassion. To empower, enrich & enlighten the people of God. His ultimate desire is to see people fully embrace God’s love and to walk in victory and power while experiencing the fullness of God’s promises
